The use of this website is subject to the conditions laid down below, be it for historical, scientific and/or educational purposes or the ordering of products. This means that when you visit or shop at Maya Herbs you are agreeing to these conditions. Please make sure you read them carefully.

Law

We make no assumption or affirmation that the products, or the information referenced on this website, are available, appropriate, or legal outside the Netherlands. Anyone choosing to access this website is wholly responsible for making sure said products and information are legal within their own country. Use of this website is at the customer’s own risk.

Information

Information provided by Maya Herbs, via this website, or by its employees by phone, fax, e-mail or other form of transmission, including any links to or from this site, is purely for historical, scientific and educational purposes and should never be interpreted as a recommendation for a specific use of our products. We can accept no responsibility or liability for the information they provide you with. The use and application of our products are solely at the customer’s decision, responsibility and risk.

Age

To place an order the customer must be 18 years of age or older. Every order is therefore considered to be submitted in compliance to this condition.

Account

When creating a customer account, you must enter your complete and accurate full name. When placing an order you must enter the correct shipping address and phone number. Failure to do so may cause delay or return of your shipment. We are not responsible for delivery problems due to incorrect data.

Product Purpose

None of our products are sold or intended for the purpose of human consumption or cosmetic use. Our products are botanical specimens of ethnographic value and interest only and are delivered with no expressed or implied fitness for any purpose. Although we pride ourselves on sourcing the best quality products, and guarantee that our products are genuine and properly identified, we cannot guarantee the effectiveness of the product in regards to the way the customer decides to use it. Natural products vary, and we have no control over the conditions of use. We cannot replace products or be held responsible for their effectiveness or lack thereof. 

Reselling our Products

Our plants are not sold for the purpose of consumption. Our plant products are packaged as bulk herbs for further processing and repackaging, and are not intended as consumer package. The buyer is responsible for appropriate labeling and packaging of our products.

Product Support

Our products are delivered with no expressed or implied fitness for any purpose. We do not provide nor communicate about usage of our products.

Shipping Policy

As the products we sell are natural and largely plant based, some may be restricted in your country. Products of which we know are illegal in your country, are disabled from ordering. However it is your final responsibility to ensure that all items in your order are allowed in your country. We are not responsible for packages or products returned, seized, or destroyed due to unforeseen customs regulations.

Return Policy

If for any reason you wish not to receive the package, simply refuse it when the postman delivers it, and it be returned to us at no cost. If your package is already delivered, do NOT ship it back until we have provided instructions how to do so.

Returned Orders

If a shipment is returned for any reason beyond our control, and you want it reshipped, we will have to charge for this.

Refunding Returned Orders

When in transit for extended periods of time, herbs can dry out and lose their value. We do not restock returned products. Because of this, we cannot fully refund returned orders. Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We do not refund shipping costs.

Delivery Time

Delivery times can be estimated with our shipping calculator, but we can not guarantee the delivery times and can not be held responsible for delay. Customs or plant inspection authorities may examine your package and delay the delivery, which is beyond our control.

Shipment Tracking

All packages are shipped with Certified Mail with tracking, which means the package is trackable, requires signature, and will be returned to us if it was undeliverable. So your orders are shipped quickly, securely, and won’t get lost or delivered to the wrong person. When your shipment has been sent, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. It is your responsibility to follow our instructions therein. regarding tracking and delivery.
